本課程在協助學生認識人類行為之精神動力學,瞭解生理、心理及社會文化因素對行為的影響,認識精神疾病及精神醫療模式的演進,以及精神衛生護理學的基本概念、護理人員在精神衛生護理領域的角色與功能,有效地應用溝通技巧於精神病患的護理、建立並分析治療性人際關係的進展使學生將所學知識與技巧運用於臨床及社區實務中,以期課程結束時學生能瞭解、認識護理人員在精神疾病治療及復健中的角色、應用精神護理知識於精神病患醫院及社區照護、察覺自己和他人的行為、社會文化價值觀以及人格特質。
課程結束學生能: 1. 瞭解精神衛生護理學的基本概念 2. 認識精神疾病及精神醫療模式的演進 3. 有效地應用溝通技巧於精神病患的護理 4. 建立並分析治療性人際關係的進展 5. 認識護理人員在精神疾病治療及復健中的角色 6. 應用精神護理知識於精神病患社區照護 7. 察覺自己和他人的行為、社會文化價值觀以及人格特質
