教學目標: 醫學診斷是一門辨識特徵(Pattern Recognition)的科學,不論從基礎的病理,到不同臨床科別的診斷系統,都是從疾病的內再和外在表徵以人腦來加以歸納和推理。自工業革命以來,醫學的長足進展,可歸功於科技的進步,使我們可以利用各種科技來了解疾病的發生原理及其變化。然而,數位科技的革命性突破,累積了許多醫學的大數據。這樣龐大的數據,很難再以人腦進行有效率的分析和判斷,而必須借助電腦科技與人工智慧的輔助,來解讀這些醫療大數據背後隱藏的模式。數位醫學即是醫學與資訊科技的結合。也是未來新世代醫療照護重要的進展。 Medical diagnosis is a science of pattern recognition. Whether from basic pathology to diagnosis systems of different clinical departments, it is summarized and reasoned by the human brain from the internal and external manifestations of the disease. Since the industrial revolution, the rapid progress of medicine can be attributed to the advancement of science and technology, so that we can use various technologies to understand the principles and changes of diseases. However, the revolutionary breakthrough of digital technology has accumulated a lot of big medical data. With such huge data, it is difficult to analyze and judge efficiently with the human brain. Computer technology and artificial intelligence must be used to interpret the hidden patterns behind these medical big data. Digital medicine is the combination of medicine and information technology.
