本課程將首先介紹蒙地卡羅的計算原理,包括..蒙地卡羅運算歷史、亂數產生器、取樣分佈、變易數降低法,接著將從醫學物理的角度導入兩者相互結合的議題,包含輻射與物質的作用、放射治療劑量計算與矯正、粒子遷移與模擬、轉換因子建立等。This course will first introduce the basic principle of Monte Carlo simulation, including the what is Monte Carlo, random number generators, sampling and variance reduction method, and discuss the related topics from the medical physics point of view, including particle interacting with material, dose calculation, and conversion factor generation.
蒙地卡羅技術是利用科學計算的能力求得無法直接量測的能量沈積、粒子遷移與作用。本課程將使同學了解蒙地卡羅技術在醫學物理中的應用,並使同學具備蒙地卡羅模擬的知識。Monte Carlo technique is to apply computer science to calculate the energy deposition and particle interaction with material. This course will introduce the usage of Monte Carlo technique in the medical physics.
