This course is about the exploration of human mind and body. To be more specific, we want to know how our body reveals our mind. If we have better command of knowledge in this field, we may get access to people’s inner recesses and hence further our communication skills. This course is designed to help our students facilitate their communication skills, which are not only limited to verbal communication, but also involve our body language, facial expression, and psychology. After taking this course, our students will be equipped with the basic knowledge regarding this field. Besides, in the process of preparing for their oral presentation, they will also improve their spoken English and body language on stage.
The students should be able to communicate in basic English.
participation: 40% mid-term oral presentation: 30% final exam: 30%
