概述

This course is one of the core courses for MBA students. The main purpose is to make the students learn more theories and practices for human resource management in organizations. After learning this course, students should be equipped with basic human knowledge and skills as a participant (employees, managers or even employers) in an organization to solve related issues or problems.

Handouts will be provided before classes on professor’s personal course website.

評分方式

1. In-class group presentation (30 %; group-based): About half hour of group sharing for some best practices in class after teacher’s discussion; Students can use information from internet and other published materials to connect the industrial reality and the chapter contents. Mainly in PPT format. 2. Home works/Assignments (20 %; individual-/group-based): assignments after class. 3. Final Report (30 %; group-based): Visit a case company and interview manager(s) to know the HR system and practices there. Find key issues for the company and eventually, make some comments/suggestions for them. 4. Attendance and participation for interactive discussions (20 %; individual-based): preparation the assigned chapters weekly; in-class constructive discussions and interactions.
