概述

Computer graphics is the field of visual computing, where one utilizes computers to synthesize visual images realistically or in specific styles. It is a basis of 3D computer game, computer animation, virtual reality, and digital visual effects. This course will introduce fundamental algorithms and techniques in computer graphics (especially in 3D graphics).

先修科目

Computer programming C/C++, data structure, linear algebra (or matrix computation)

* Class lectures are in Chinese, and the teaching materials (slides, homework, etc.) are in English. * The official course page is at E3, NYCU (課程正式內容網頁在E3, NYCU)

評分方式

* Graphics programming homework (such as OpenGL/GLSL) x 3~5 * Exams Note 1: Students taking this course should possess adequate programming and debugging skills. Note 2: We recommend that students use Windows to perform OpenGL/GLSL samples provided by TAs. (We have instructions about environment setup on MacOS, but they might not always work, since Apple claimed they deprecated OpenGL after macOS 10.14 and provided Metal API instead.)
