概述

數位技科對我們社會生活與當代文化的衝擊方方面面又廣及全球,至今人文學界但卻仍未被充分探索,我們需要新的理論與方法來研究21世紀諸多新興的文化現象。本課程提供文化研究的取徑我們去了解原有認同、自我、社群、關係、隱私等概念如何在數位時代受到挑戰,我們更專注在新數位技術而生成的新文化現象與社會生活樣貌。除了介紹性地定義外,我們將從數位的社會生活著手,再探討它的文化生產與經濟模式有何差異,其間可能產生的權力關係及社會議題又會如何?最後也會探索幾個新興的數位文化形式。本課程將儘可能讓學生接觸不同的數位文化的研究議題,以期開拓學生的視野,更能深入地解析當代的數位文化與生活。

口頭報告:修課或旁聽同學都須參與口頭報告,這學期共有32篇,將由修課或旁聽同學共同分攤,請自行認領想要引言報告的文章。

評分方式

評量方式:出席與討論:50%,期末作業,請以每週上課內容為主題(或另選主題),撰寫一篇文獻綜述(literature reviews)的論文(約八千到一萬字)50%。
