The objective of this course is to develop graduate students with the capability to start a research project. Students are required to present the most recent literature selected from the field they are interested. In addition, we will invite speakers to provide state-of-art research and applications for students. A scholar or an experienced expert will be invited to give a talk each week to broaden students' professional knowledge.

(1) 本課程評量方法為「通過」或「不通過」。 The grading of this course is PASS/NO PASS. (2) 課程通過評量標準為「缺席次數」及「心得報告繳交」。無故缺席3次(含)以上,或無故心得報告缺交3次(含)以上,為「不通過」。 THREE or more non‐approved absences result in a fail (NO PASS) of this course. Also, missing THREE or more summary reports results in a fail (NO PASS) of this course. (3) 除重大事件或重大傷病並檢附相關證明外,本課程每次出席應親自簽到。如有代簽或冒簽情事,一律送交學校生輔組學生獎懲委員會判斷與處理。 Except for severe medical and other emergencies, there will be no excuse given to absent students.
