This course is specifically designed for the international graduate (MS & PhD) students enrolled in NYCU ECE & CS Colleges. ALL presentations in this course will be given in English.

For students of EECS International Graduate Program: Master-must take this course at least three times during their studies at NYCU. PhD-every semester of the first two years, at least four times before graduation. For students of other departments/Programs: may take this course as a substitute of the regular Graduate Seminar courses as long as they obtain an approval from their departments.

We will collect at least 10 seminars from NYCU, NTHU that are delivered in English. You are free to attend any of them. These seminars will be given in irregular intervals depending on the visiting periods of our guests. The time and place of these seminars will be sent via email to all students who are enrolled in this course. Please make sure that your email address is correct in NYCU e3 system.

Every enrolled student must submit 8 seminar reports categorized as below: a. 6 one-page summary of the seminars shortly after attending the seminars. b. 2 detailed (at least 4 pages) reports on any 2 seminars. You could write both a short and a long reports for a single seminar. Please submit your report before the Sunday Midnight of the same week through NYCU e-campus system. Others: * Tolerate no plagiarism * Low-quality report does not count * Good-quality report may be circulated or post to other people * The final grade will be 'Pass' or 'Fail'
