隨著少子化與人口平均壽命提升,政府預估臺灣將於2025年進入超高齡社會(老年人口占比大於20%)。銀髮族的生涯階段、身心狀態與社會角色,隨著經濟社會文化與生醫科技發展,現行法規政策已急切需要實質之調整與反思,始能積極回應個人在人生最後階段,以及社會人口結構的巨大轉變。而與我國更早面對此一問題之日本,其經驗與法制政策即有重要的參考價值,課程邀請多位日本學者分享其研究心得與觀點。 With declining birth rates and an increase in life expectancy, the government estimates that Taiwan will enter a super-aged society (where the elderly population exceeds 20%) by 2025. The life stages, physical and mental states, and social roles of the elderly population are evolving due to the ever-changing economic, social, cultural factors, and biomedical technology development. Current regulations and policies urgently require substantial adjustments to reflect and proactively respond to individuals in the final stages of life and the significant changes in the demographic structure of society. Japan, which has faced this issue earlier than our country, offers valuable experiences and legal policies that can serve as important references. This curriculum invites multiple Japanese scholars to share their research insights and perspectives on this matter. 本課程涵蓋重要之高齡議題,從法律的觀點進行探討,主要包括下列議題: 1. 高齡者的財務規劃:養老財源的籌措、信託、稅務、遺囑、年金制度等。 2. 高齡者的健康與照護議題:健保—長照制度與醫療糾紛。 3. 高齡社會之議題:年齡就業歧視、老人虐待、成人監護等。 4. 臨終相關之議題:安寧照護、尊嚴死、生前契約與殯葬法規等。 This course covers major elder issues from legal perspectives, mainly including the following issues: 1. Elder’s financial management: financial source after retirement, trust, tax, will, annuity system. 2. Elder’s health and care: medical dispute, healthcare and long-term care system. 3. Aged society’s issues: age discrimination, elder abuse, adult guardianship. 4. End-of-life issues: hospice care, death with dignity, pre-need funeral contract, funeral laws.

1. 每週邀請專家學者進行專題演講 2. 期末由修課學生撰寫報告並口頭發表 3. 本課程為全英語授課 指定閱讀文獻將置於E3教學平台;講者與修課學生須順利上網修課。
1.期末報告(80%):報告字數要求為英文2,000字期末報告。 2.隨堂測驗(20%):隨堂隨機就指定文獻與課程進行內容參與討論。
