This course aims to introduce listening, speaking, reading, and writing in “English for international etiquette” to students. Students will acquire an awareness of cultural differences of the world and develop an appreciation and understanding of the difference so they can behave properly and avoid an unintentional act with embarrassments and can communicate effectively with others. There will be reading assignment every week. Students must finish the readings before class and need to share their reading response on the issues covered in the readings with their classmates in class. Students will learn: * How to Work with Everyone Nicely without Disrespectful Manners and Maintain Pleasant Work Environment * Job Interview Rubrics, Dress Code in Business Setting, Business Negotiation Skills * Behavior and Strategies to Relay Information Clearly while Maintaining Positive Relationships with Supervisors, Colleagues and Clients * Social Etiquette in School Setting * Good Behaviors on all types of Online Communication * Ding Out and Ding in Etiquette * The General Courtesy Rules Communities Expect Drivers to Follow
