The purpose of this course is to allow students to gain a deeper understanding of Taiwanese culture and strengthen their listening and speaking abilities. By traveling through Taiwan via the book, students can gain a better understanding of local culture, customs, and more. This will enable them to quickly and effectively integrate into Taiwanese life and improve their communication skills with others.
Introductory Chinese Conversation I and/or II, Introductory Chinese I and/or II.
Lectures, class activities, group discussion, and task-based learning. Course Policy: 1. Complete assignments on time. Late homework will not be accepted. 2. The lecturer reserves the right to make changes to the course schedule based on the progress of the class and other unexpected circumstances.
Evaluation: Attendance: 10% Participation: 15% Assignments: 20% Project: 15% Midterm Report: 20% Final Report: 20%
