針對已修習生物化學、分子生物學、細胞生物學,甚至遺傳學概論的學生,安排基礎醫學遺傳學課程,讓學生了解人類遺傳疾病傳遞模式的判斷、細胞遺傳學與分子生物學診斷、遺傳疾病的治療、與預防、諮詢、倫理相關議題。課程內容包含:本課程內容不求多,而以能夠與基礎生物化學、分子生物學、細胞生物學,以及現今國際同業狀態銜接,因此保留部分課堂時間,由同學的提問即時進行相關細節連結與說明,以期學生可以真正的了解該知識在醫學遺傳學中的角色,進而得以應用與發揮。 課程主題: 1. 遺傳疾病細胞遺傳學與分子生物學實驗診斷 I. Patterns of single-gene inheritance II. Principles of Clinical Cytogenetics and Genome Analysis III. Human Genetic Diversity : Mutation and Polymorphism IV. Identifying the Genetic Basis for Human Disease V. Complex Inheritance of Common Multifactorial Disorders 2. 遺傳疾病治療 I. The Treatment of Genetic Disease 3. 遺傳諮詢與疾病預防 I. Risk Assessment and Genetic Counseling II. Ethical and Social Issues in Genetics and Genomics
基礎生物學、基礎生物化學、基礎分子生物學、基礎細胞生物學
作業或紙筆測驗。兩位老師的成績各佔 50%.
