The seminar is a forum for students to explore with their research problem development, theoretical foundations and methodology to launch their dissertation research. The main purpose of this course is to provide socialization to doctoral study and the research environment for students. It is designed to provide on-going dialogue among students and faculty related to doctoral study through class discussion. This course will also provide the student with opportunities to practice preparing and giving an oral presentation. The students are encouraged to conduct the presentation in English.
