The course is conducted entirely online. The course is comprised of 6 biweekly challenges and a final project. Both the challenges and the final project are group challenges, comprised of 4 to 6 students. Class attendance is not required.

No prerequisite courses are required to enroll in this class, making it accessible to students from various academic backgrounds. However, participants should note that this course employs a Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) framework, emphasizing practical, real-world problem-solving through group collaboration. The course's structure demands robust self-learning capabilities, effective communication, and proficient self-management from its students. These skills are essential for engaging with the group challenges effectively and leveraging the full potential of the CBL approach.

The professor and the teaching assistant are familiar with the CBL framework and will try to help communication and cooperation in the student groups
