At the end of this course, the students are expected to develop the following skills and abilities: 1. Applications of computer-aided methods to analyze and design a new structure and its foundation against natural hazards, such as typhoons and earthquakes. 2. Preparation of a professional engineering design report. 3. Plotting the building plans, structural design plans, and foundation plans. 4. Preparation of construction method statements, scheduling, and a management plan. 5. Professional presentation (in the form of oral, written, and physical models) of the proposed design and construction plans to clients.
1.結構與材料力學 (structural analysis, mechanics of materials) 2. 初階程度之結構設計和施工方法 (basic structural design and construction methods) 3.電腦輔助設計和製圖(computer-aided design and drawing)
Each 9-10 students will form a group and will be guided by the instructor and teaching assistants to complete a design project
期末報告 (個人70%)+實作模型(團隊30%)
