概述
Speech prosody is consisted of two major elements, namely focus / prominence and prosodic boundaries. This study introduce how prosodic prominence and boundaries govern intonation and segmental production. Atypical prosodic structure produced by speakers with autistic spectral disorder will be compared. Students will learn ToBI system and conduct research project labeling tone and break indices.
