修習完這門課後,期望同學可以了解磁性的基本原理、特性,以及如何應用磁性材料於現代科技之中。課程也會介紹以磁性材料為主衍伸的自旋電子學科技,以及磁阻式隨機存取記憶體概論。最後將有一堂專題課討論如何將磁記憶體應用於類神經元計算元件。 After this course, students should be able to describe the fundamentals of magnetism, its properties, and the applications of using magnetic materials. The courses will also cover the spintronics device and the associated applications with magnetoresistive random access memory. A special topic regarding spintronics-based neuromorphic computing will be included.
