概述

This class aims to summarize emergent research fields of laser manipulation and fabrication of organic and bio matters and to transfer my research reality to graduate students. The lecture consists of three parts. First, fundamental concepts of molecular excitation, relaxation, energy transfer, electron transfer, and fluorescence are explained, and necessary spectroscopy, microscopy, and imaging methods are summarized. Second, chemical and physical phenomena induced by optical trapping force are summarized and explained, and their future potential in science and technology is considered. Third, starting from fundamental non-linear photochemical processes, electronic and molecular mechanism of laser ablation is proposed, and its application is introduced.
