Management of maritime organisations is about managing maritime organisations within the framework of the relevant international conventions (e.g., MARPOL, ISM Code, STCW, SOLAS, ISPS Code, Port State Control) which governs the practices of international shipping. The primary propose is to facilitate the understanding of how commercial and government organisations in the international maritime infrastructure are organised and managed. Specifically, shipping convention issues related to the application of technology such as operations of autonomous ship, blockchain, and shipping digitalization. The objective of this course is to provide broad, analytical and integrated study of the management of maritime organisations.
