This course is comprised of listening, speaking, reading and writing lessons. The course is designed for beginners to use basic dialogues in our daily life, and to read, and write basic and commonly used Chinese characters in dialogue content. Course Objectives: 1. Learn the structure, stroke order and writing of Chinese characters. 2. Understand basic Chinese sentence patterns, word order, and structure. 3. Acquire basic communication skills. 4. Understand more about Chinese culture.
Finish Chinese I <A Course in Contemporary Chinese >book 1-1: Lesson 1~4
Course policy: 1. Complete assignments on time. Late homework will not be accepted. 2. The lecturer reserves the right to make changes to the course schedule based on the progress of the class and other unexpected circumstances.
