1.To improve students’ reading skills and critical thinking by reading and discussing different kinds of articles and novels. 2.To sharpen students’ listening skills and test-taking strategies by various listening materials and tasks. 3.To enhance students’ speaking proficiency and communicative skills by student-centered activities. 4.To strengthen students’ vocabulary building by extensive reading and periodical vocabulary tests.
