概述
發育生物學是針對生科系三四年級與研究所同學所開設之課程, 設定為生科系核心必修課程的延伸。課程目標為完整地介紹生物體生長和發育的過程中基因如何對細胞生長、分化和形態發生進行調控以完成組織、器官和生物體的形成。 藉由介紹發育生物學的歷史、現況和未來開始破冰,共計16週的課程以四個面向引導學生了解個體發育的過程與相對應的調控機轉。 面向一:介紹無脊椎動物的胚胎發育過程與分子調控機制 (Development of fly and worm) 面向二:介紹脊椎動物的胚胎發育過程與分子調控機制 (Morphogenesis of early embryos in frog, fish, chick and mouse) 面向三:介紹器官形成過程中所需細胞分化的分子調控機制 (Cell differentiation and organogenesis) 面向四:以神經系統為例,介紹系統形成過程中所需細胞分化的分子調控機制 (Development of the nervous system)
教學方式
授課方是以教科書與科學文獻上的知識介紹以及課堂上互動式的討論同時並行。
