傳達技巧工作坊(一)：聽講訓練C組

Course Description: This course aims at providing students with principles, strategies, and techniques in speaking English effectively and improving their oral communication skills that are required in real-life scenarios and academic settings. Through selected themed-based scenarios and authentic texts, this course intends to help students develop speaking fluency and accuracy on a wide range of discussion topics. Throughout the semester, students are encouraged to engage in various forms of communicative activities such as games, role-play, and presentations to improve their overall fluency in English. Course Objective: Upon completing this course, students are expected to establish interests and confidence in English speaking, and acquire logical thinking, skills and strategies needed in effective discussions, as well as to improve the organisation, content and delivery of oral presentations.

20% attendance, in-class discussion and participation; 30% creative project presentation (one individual presentation based on a self-chosen topic); 30% two role-play in groups; 20% learning portfolio (including presentation slides, discussion responses, peer-review notes, self-evaluation and reflection, etc.)
