概述

1. This course is just for basic learner for LabVIEW programming. I will introduce what is LabVIEW (G-language) and how to use it step by step. 2. LabVIEW can be used for data acquisition, instrument control, and date analysis. Of course, LabVIEW is also a powerful language with add-on toolkits, such as communication, networking, point-by-point digital system processing, and advanced imaging processing.

教學方式

LabVIEW offers very good online tutorials with its software. Even without any books, you can learn most of the topics just by clicking "Help" and browse its documentation. BTW, this course could be online owing to pandemic prevention in the first and second week after school begins. For the most updated information, please refer to the new E3 or contact Prof. or TA via email.

評分方式

Exams (CLAD, on-machine, ): 40% Programming assignments(HW1, 2, and final project): 50% (including file I/O, graph and chart, advanced analysis, communication, GUI, and signal processing.) Participation & lab: 10% (EC316)

教科書

1. All materials (ppt files) are going to be uploaded on the E3 website. 2. Manuals (pdf files) will be used as a reference in this course. Those materials are freely available on the website of National Instruments. 3. There are almost 20 published LabVIEW books. Those books can be borrowed from the NCTU library.
