1. Preparation (a) Select a paper, and have a short discussion with teacher on it at least 2 weeks before the presentation. (b) Prepare your powerpoint file for the presentation, and send them to teacher via e-mail 1 week before your presentation day. The powerpoint file may be required for revision. 2. Presentation Each presentation takes ~30 minutes. Each presentation should contain (i) introduction of the background of the research including explanation of techniques used in the selected paper, (ii) the scientific ideas of the selected paper, (iii) summary. Further argument, possible improvement to the paper, perspective to your research, etc. may also be described. Evaluation: Presentation = 75%, participation in discussions = 25%.

A recently (2020-present) published original paper (not review and account) should be selected for your presentation. Topics of the paper should be in the fields of physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and related fields. Regarding material papers, those on "synthesis and evaluation" are not appreciated.
