1971 年,第一台個人電腦問世;1989 年,網際網絡誕生。在短短不到半個世紀的時間裡,數位科技已經對人們如何行動與互動產生了巨大的改變。通訊軟體與電子郵件取代了電話與信件,數位影音平台改變了傳統電視生態,社群媒體、電子遊戲、行動支付、智能家電、共享經濟,數位科技深植在日常的每一個角落,以華麗包裝的未來想像讓人成癮。本課程分為三大單元:數位基調、政治經濟、資料與後人類。我們將以人類學的視角來探索在網路如何重新定義時間/空間、真實/虛擬、與社會性;數位科技如何打造當代的政治經濟地景;資料與演算法又如何重構人與機器、身體與情動。每一堂課都將透過重要文本關注一個相關議題。學生將透過閱讀、課堂討論、與寫作進行思辨,以期能夠批判性地思考數位科技對人類社會的影響。
非本所學生修課須經授課教師同意,不開放旁聽。
本課程為社文所與科社所合開之seminar,為求兩個校區的學生都能平等的參與,本課程將以線上為主,每個月一次輪流在陽明校區與光復校區實體上課,詳細時間規畫請見每週進度。
1.學期作業、考試、評量 - 課堂報告 presentation (20%) - 課堂討論 discussion (20%) - 文章摘要及評論 precis (20%):針對指定閱讀,撰寫800~1500字摘要及短評(或提問);除了報告週次的2篇hangout之外,另外再選不同週次的4篇文章,一共6篇文章,於當週四中午12:00於E3繳交。 - 期末報告 term paper (40%):與本學期課程主題相關之期末報告,文章編排與格式需符合學術規範,不得抄襲,使用生成式AI需註明使用處及下的prompt。文長八千到一萬字。於W12上課前線上繳交題目名與500字以內摘要。期末報告 12/27 5pm於E3繳交。遲交為0分。 2.教學方法及教學相關配合事項(如助教、網站或圖書及資料庫等) 本課程以課堂討論為主。
