To improve students’ scientific writing skills
Lecture content: - Introduction: Course syllabus review, introduction, reference material searching by students; Brief introduction of each student: level, study and research field, published articles, reviewed articles. - Drafting a Manuscript: Title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methods/materials, results in tables and figures, discussions, conclusions, references, appendices... - Usage and Refining: Usage style and language functions - Grammer and Words: Tables and Other References
1) Active participation in class discussion (15%). 2) Reviewing two journal articles assigned (30%). - Review 1 MS ID RSPA-2023 - Review 2 MS ID IJSS-D-22 3) Using your research topic to write your first draft, revising, refining, and ready for submission (55%). Important Note: Students who are willing to share their MS for in-class discussion will receive extra points! Grades will NOT be on a curve - if everyone does excellent work, then everyone will get an A (~ scale >90 A, 80-89 B, 70-79 C, 60-69 D, and
