Emerging applications have driven the rapid development of wireless communication technology. Since the deployment of the fifth-generation communication system, research and development of the next-generation has been started for several years. It is thus important to get familiar with the basic fundamentals of RF and high-frequency circuits for advanced systems. This course will focus on the basic concepts of RF microelectronics. Starting from the basic concepts, fundamental and analysis of key components in RF front-end transceivers will be carried out, such as low-noise amplifiers and power amplifiers. Several practice of the impedance matching technique will be performed using simulation software for attendees to get familiar with the concept.

You’ll need a laptop with Windows operating system for the simulation software.
