This course is designed to provide an in-depth introduction to the rapidly evolving domains of network security. Its primary objective is to impart a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical underpinnings and practical applications of these critical areas in network security. Initially, the course will delve into the fundamental challenges that network security capabilities must address, presenting an extensive tutorial and overview of the current state of cryptographic and network security technologies. Subsequently, the focus will shift to the practical aspects of network security. This will encompass an examination of various real-world applications that are integral to maintaining robust network security, thereby offering participants valuable insights into their implementation and efficacy.
