課程目標為使學生了解個體在單次運動時的生理反應與運動訓練產生的生理適應。主要的課程內容包含: (1) 營養在個體運動中扮演的角色;(2) 運動時的能量代謝;(3) 生理各個系統對運動的反應與適應;(4) 環境壓力與運動表現。 The goal of the course is to provide the students with fundamental knowledge about physiologic response and adaptation to physical activity. The main contents of the course include: (1) nutrition: the base for physical activity, (2) energy for physical activity, (3) responses and adaptations to exercise in different physiological systems, (4) environmental stress and exercise performance.
Lectures, experiential learning, and discussions.
課程參與度(10%)、報告(30%;小組報告教師評分占60%,同儕評分占40%)、期中考(30%)、期末考(30%) Class participation (10%), Midterm report (30%; (for group presentation, 60% from the teacher and 40% from peers), Midterm exam (30%), Final exam (30%) NOTE: All types of leave (except for official leave, funeral leave, emergencies due to severe illness, or unforeseeable major incidents) shall have the grades of make-up examinations discounted by 10%.

| 第 2 週 | 運動生理學常用測量 Common measurements in exercise physiology: aerobic capacity, anthropometric characteristics *實作活動: 標準化之運動_心肺適能評估(三分鐘登階測試) *實作活動: 非標準化之運動_軍艦岩登山活動 ***學生將於運動前後評估心跳、呼吸速率、與血壓,並讓學生比較穿戴式裝置與實際評估數據的異同*** ***學生將於課程後撰寫心得(一組一份),內容需呈現每個人運動前後心跳、呼吸速率、自覺用力係數、平日運動訓練狀態、以及穿戴式裝置與實際評估數據的異同;學生亦需註明運動時的環境狀況(溫度、溼度等)及自覺環境可能會對運動時反應的影響;最後學生需比較標準化運動與非標準化運動對觀測參數的影響*** |
