本課程的教學目標,希望修課學生能從生物、心理與社會等不同學科領域的角度,探討與醫學密切相關的幾個重要的性別課題,包括:性別差異、性別刻板印象、生殖醫學與性選擇、性藥物與美容醫學、性工業與性工作者、愛滋防治、多元性別等。修課同學需探索各種不同學科領域的邏輯架構與研究取徑,從人性的特性出發(如:道德直覺、從眾、暗示感受性、確認偏見等),省思自我層次的思考模式與道德基礎,觀照他我層次的互動模式與價值判斷,批判眾我層次的國家政策與社會行動,以期能更深入地了解性別議題在醫學上的重要性,對往後的專業發展能有所助益。To investigate medical-related gender issues with biological, psychological and sociological point of views, and apply the knowledge and learning experiences to professional development and patient care.
課堂要求: 1.準時出席;第二節才出現視同缺席,除非有特殊理由。 2.每週必須唸完指定讀物,隔週的課堂討論表現列入個人課堂參與成績 3.課堂參與必須充分展現自己的思考邏輯與溝通技巧 4.報告內容禁止抄襲(視同作弊),引用資料必須清楚標示出處來源、作者、日期。 評分標準: 期中考試:40% 課堂參與:30% 期末報告:30% midterm exam: 40% class participation: 30% final report: 30%
