Course Description This course adopts a scenario-based approach to teaching English for nursing dialogues across various hospital units and care services. It aims to enhance students’ skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English. Additionally, clinicians from abroad (e.g., the USA, UK, and Australia) will be invited to share their professional experiences in nursing care, commonly used conversations, and the context of different healthcare systems. Role-playing activities will allow students to showcase their knowledge and gain hands-on experience with English nursing conversations. Furthermore, this course serves as a preparatory platform and skill booster for students planning to study, work, or participate in international exchange programs. To enhance speaking skills throughout the semester, we will integrate the AI-assisted English-speaking platform “Sensay” as a key learning tool.
