概述

Fundamentals and definition of nanomaterials; Quantum confinement regime; Nanomaterial synthesis; Optical, electrical, physical, and other properties of nanomaterials and their dependence on size. Applications of nanomaterials in sensing, catalysis, bioimaging, nanomedicine, and therapy.

教科書

1. Reference text book: Nanochemistry: A Chemical Approach to Nanomaterials, Geoffrey A. Ozin, Royal Society of Chemistry. 2. Teacher’s slides will be provided. 3. Grading based on Midterm (40%) and Final exams (40%), weekly quiz (20 %). 4. Online polls/quizzes using SLIDO. This course will be delivered in English.
