Focusing on Applied Microbiology: In addition to teaching concepts and principles, the course emphasizes hands-on practice, group oral presentations, and diverse methods to assess learning outcomes. 2. Practice-Oriented with Industry Alignment: Unlike traditional knowledge-based courses, this course focuses on practical applications, helping students grasp the product development process in the industry and laying a solid foundation for entering related fields or pursuing further studies. 3. Industry Engagement to Broaden Perspectives: The course includes two-three industry visits and lectures by industry experts. Oral presentations will also involve industry professionals as evaluators, providing feedback and suggestions. This approach enables students to understand product development processes, explore application prospects, and gain insight into the industry, enhancing their learning motivation and interest.

Prerequisite: Microbiology

Class participation and questioning (25%), practical performance assessment (25%), and final group oral presentation (50%). The final group oral presentation must include an introduction, experimental results and discussion, group product design ideas, market niche analysis and patent application strategy, industry visit reflections, and course feedback.
