課程概述: 本課程透過閱讀與分析原始研究論文,培養學生的科學思辨與表達能力。學生將在指導教授協助下選擇主題與論文,進行深入閱讀與內容整合,並以英語進行口頭簡報與問答討論。課程鼓勵主動學習與跨領域視野,並透過同儕互動與教師回饋,提升論述邏輯與簡報技巧。 課程目標: 1. 提升學生閱讀與理解英文生物醫學研究論文的能力。 2. 培養學生清晰、有條理地以英文進行科學簡報的技巧。 3. 鍛鍊學生在公開場合中回答問題與進行討論的應對能力。 4. 強化科學批判思維,培養獨立思考與分析原始數據的能力。 5. 促進同儕學習與跨主題整合能力,建立團隊溝通與回饋文化。 Course Description: This course aims to cultivate students' scientific reasoning and communication skills through the reading and analysis of primary research articles. Under the guidance of a supervising professor, students will select topics and relevant literature, engage in in-depth reading and content synthesis, and deliver oral presentations and Q&A sessions in English. The course encourages active learning and interdisciplinary thinking, while peer interaction and instructor feedback help enhance logical argumentation and presentation skills. Course Objectives: 1. Enhance students’ ability to read and comprehend biomedical research articles in English. 2. Develop clear and structured scientific presentation skills in English. 3. Strengthen students’ ability to respond to questions and engage in academic discussion in public settings. 4. Foster critical thinking and the capacity for independent analysis of primary scientific data. 5. Promote peer learning and cross-topic integration, and build a culture of teamwork, communication, and constructive feedback.
