*本課程導讀人工智能英文科普讀物 Rebooting AI: Building Artificial Intelligence We Can Trust (Marcus & Davis 2019) 以及 Taming Silicon Valley (Marcus 2024),預期達到以下目標* (1) 訓練學生建立有效率的英文閱讀習慣、資料歸納統整以及邏輯演繹思考能力。 (2) 厚植學生對語言學課程以及跨域學習的理解基礎與學習動機。 (3) 培養學生在數位資訊時代對於人工智能的科普素養與獨立判斷能力。 (4) 帶領學生了解在現今人工智能的發展下,為何大型語言模型 (Large Language Model, LLM) 如 ChatGPT 並沒有真正理解人類語言。 *除了基礎閱讀,每週皆會有一小時的 coding/Python/NLP 工作坊,循序漸進帶領學生學習 coding/Python 技巧,朝 NLP 實作邁進* 本課程將推薦表現優良之學生申請 NLP 業界的暑期實習機會。 *本課程為「語言學與人工智能學分學程」的必修基礎課程,學分學程的詳細資訊:https://sites.google.com/nycu.edu.tw/linguisticsai*
