Numerical methods are extremely powerful problem-solving tools, especially when we need to handle large systems of linear or nonlinear equations, and complicated system simulation, which are not uncommon in real world engineering. The goal of this course is for you to learn the concepts of numerical methods and how to use them to solve engineering problems. The topics covered in this course include: (1) roots finding, (2) linear algebraic equations, (3) curve fitting, (4) numerical differentiation and integration, (5) ordinary differential equations and (3) optimization. Note: 1. This course will be taught in Mandarin. If you're not fluent in Mandarin, please don't take this course. 2. 本課程課表所列週一下午3:30 - 4:20 (M7) 將採線上課,上課時間於開學後另行公告。實體課程將只有週四(R34)兩堂課。 ************************************************************************************************************ * ************************************************************************************************************ 對於想加簽的同學很抱歉,因為考量教室容量有限及助教工作負荷,我們必須限制修課人數。 按照目前修課人數,我們可允許15位同學在週四下課後加簽。加簽優先順序如下: 1. 本系生優先,若本系生超過15人要加簽,以高年級優先。 2. 若有剩餘名額,本校生優先(高年級優先)。 3. 無法決定優先順序時,抽籤決定。
