This is the second semester of Linear Algebra. We assume students have some prior knowledge of matrix computations from the first semester. This semester will focus on the theoretical foundations of linear algebra. Specifically, we will cover the following topics: 1. Vector Spaces 2. Linear Transformations 3. Inner Product Spaces 4. Bilinear and Quadratic Forms 5. Special Topics (Fundamental Theorem of Algebra and Rational Form)
Linear Algebra I and Calculus I
Use E3 system.
1. Homework and in-class participation 30% 2. Midterm 30% 3. Final 40%
