This course delves into the analysis and design of MOSFET-based analog integrated circuits. Key topics explored include: 1. Device models and IC technologies: Establishing a foundation for understanding the behavior of MOSFETs in integrated circuit environments. 2. Elementary gain stages: Examining fundamental building blocks for analog circuits, such as common-source, common-gate, and common-drain configurations. 3. Current mirrors and reference generators: Investigating techniques for generating precise and stable current sources, crucial for accurate circuit operation. 4. Output stages: Analyzing power amplifiers and their characteristics, including efficiency, output swing, and load driving capabilities. 5. Noise analysis and modeling: Exploring the sources and effects of noise in analog circuits and developing techniques for minimizing its impact. 6. Feedback and frequency compensation: Studying feedback principles for improving circuit performance and techniques for ensuring stability at high frequencies. 7. Operational amplifiers: Deep diving into the design and analysis of operational amplifiers, versatile building blocks for a wide range of analog systems.
