Based on the prior knowledge of geometrical optics and physical optics, this course is aimed to introduce the basic optical phenomena and optical systems in detail. Several basic experimental methods based on the optical systems will also be discussed in order to help students being familiar with many different optical systems and their operating principles.

教材編選: Prepare lecture note in powerpoint. 教學資源: Basic principles of optics: from textbook, optical system and experimental methods: related papers and references from literature and internet. Invite the experts in the field. 教學方法: Lectures will be given in English. Students will choose one of the experimental method or optical system to comprehensively study and have a presentation in the end of the semester. According to the normal distribution。
作業部份: 考試部份: 評量部份: 平時作業(20%),學生報告(50%) 和期中考試(30%)
