非均相催化特論Special Topics in Heterogenous Catalysis 能源轉換與減碳已成為全球議題的重中之重,且工業生產中有約八成需透過催化反應才得以完成,因此透過此課程希望能提升學生對非均相催化的基礎了解並訓練學生如何應用特定技術來鑑定非均相觸媒。 透過本課程使學生了解(1)何謂非均相觸媒,(2)非均相催化的基本特性,(3)基本觸媒鑑定技術,(4)先進同步輻射相關實驗技術在非均相催化領域的應用與(5)熟悉相關的光束線操作與數據分析。課程為3學分,一學期約16週或48小時,包括一次期中考,六次實績操作和六次結果研討報告。 預期學生在修習本課程後應具有能力可獨立設計觸媒結構與催化實驗,並選用對的技術來解釋或驗證實驗所見之結果。 In this course, students will learn (1) what is so-called heterogeneous catalyst, (2) the fundamentals of heterogeneous catalysis, (3) general catalyst characterizations (4) advanced synchrotron techniques for heterogeneous catalysis, and (5) the corresponding operation and data analyses. This is a 3-credit class. There will be 48 hours for 16 weeks, including one midterm, six experimental operations, and six result presentations. We expect that, after the course, students will be independent in the designs of catalyst structures for specific catalytic reactions, and able to pick suitable techniques for analyzing and interpreting the experimental observations correctly.

Studnets who won't be available for the experimental operation are suggested not to take the course.
中文:期中考 40%, 期末考 50%, 出席 10% (期考中為筆試, 期末考為數據分析測驗) 英文:Midterm 40%, Final 50%, Attendance 10% (The midterm will be written examination & the final will be datum analyses texamination)
