大學二年級時大體解剖學使同學對解剖學的基礎醫學專業產生興趣,進而使學生具備基礎能進階學習與臨床相關的應用解剖學領域,為任何的臨床醫學及外科專科打下深厚的基礎。當進入口腔顎面與牙科臨床醫學時,大體解剖學的學習主旨與範圍便顯得太過廣泛且不夠深入,不能契合未來臨床應用的需求,如此將減低同學的學習興致,影響學習成效。因此本口腔解剖學課程將側重於口腔、顎顏面部的解剖結構與生理功能的連結,以應用解剖學的導向為未來的臨床應用打下基礎。
本課程以教授口腔、顎顏面部的解剖結構與生理功能的連結,以應用解剖學的導向為未來的臨床應用打下基礎。應此須先修過基礎生理學及大體解剖學及實驗。
本課程為合併上下學期之整合課程,上學期成績占65%;下學期成績占35%。
