物理治療行政管理學(模組)

教學目標: 1. 瞭解影響物理治療執業的外部環境,如:醫療體系、健保制度、長照制度、法令規章等。 2. 瞭解醫院內部組織與功能,以及物理治療部門之設計與環境管理、組織運作、人事管理、財務管理、行銷管理、品質管理與醫院評鑑等。 3. 瞭解物理治療現行或未來具開發潛力的執業領域,能以小組團隊合作型式,擬具初步物理治療創業企劃書。 課程概述: 本課程目的在使學生具備基本的物理治療行政管理知識與技巧。課程內容涵蓋:影響物理治療執業的外部環境(醫療體系、健保制度、長照制度、法令規章)、醫院內部的組織與功能,以及物理治療部門之設計與環境管理、組織運作、人事管理、財務管理、行銷管理、品質管理與醫院評鑑,及物理治療創業等。此外,學生須於期末以小組方式完成一份期末報告。報告形式為「物理治療創業營運計畫書」之研擬。將採分組小團體作業型式,融合歷次授課內容,並透過參訪、臨床實習經驗及文獻蒐集彙整等方式完成。「創業營運計畫書」之主題內容得與物理治療現行或未來具開發潛力的新興市場或執業模式有關,譬如:物理治療所、體適能或健身中心、職場物理治療、急性後期照護/長期照護/社區照護、兒童早期療育、輔具評估與管理、減重、婦女健康、競技運動場護,或結合溫泉/水療/芳療/中醫整脊/養生/醫學美容等概念或任何相關領域皆可。計畫內容應含背景分析、環境設計、財務分析、人員配置、行銷策略、預期營運結果等;期末報告時將請物理治療所開業業師擔任講評,給予同學回饋與建議。同學可發揮創意、盡情揮灑。學生在修習完本課程後,將具備更宏觀、更前瞻的視野,以及基本的管理學概念與技巧。期待學生未來應用於職場,展現物理治療師之專業性與團隊精神;同時也成為拓展物理治療專業的新尖兵。 Course Objectives : 1. Understand the external environment that affects the practice of physical therapy, such as the medical care system, health insurance system, long-term care system, laws and regulations, etc. 2. Understand the internal organization and functions of the hospital, as well as the design and environmental management, organization and operation, personnel management, financial management, marketing management, quality management and accreditation of the physical therapy department. 3. Understand the current or potential emerging areas in physical therapy, and be able to formulate a preliminary business plan for physical therapy entrepreneurship in the format of small-group teamwork. Course Contents : 1. External Factors Influencing Physical-Therapy Practice: The healthcare system, National Health Insurance, long-term-care policies, and relevant laws and regulations. 2. Internal Organization and Functions of Hospitals: Governance structure and interdepartmental collaboration. 3. Management of a Physical-Therapy Department : Facility design and environmental management, Operational workflows, Human-resource management, Financial management, Marketing and branding, Quality management and hospital accreditation 4. Physical-Therapy Entrepreneurship: Emerging business models and market opportunities. Capstone Project: By the end of the semester, students will work in small groups to produce a “Physical Therapy Business & Operations Plan.” Drawing on course content, site visits, clinical internships, and literature reviews, each team will: • Select a promising market or practice model—e.g., private PT clinics, fitness or wellness centers, workplace health services, post-acute/long-term/community care, early-childhood intervention, assistive-device assessment, weight management, women’s health, sports performance, or integrative approaches such as hydrotherapy, spa therapy, traditional Chinese manual therapy, lifestyle medicine, or medical aesthetics. • Prepare a comprehensive plan that includes background analysis, facility design, financial projections, staffing, marketing strategies, and expected operational outcomes. • Present the plan to practicing clinic owners invited as external reviewers, receiving professional feedback and advice. Expected Learning Outcomes: Upon completion, students will possess a broader, forward-looking perspective and foundational management competencies, enabling them to: • Apply administrative concepts effectively in the workplace. • Demonstrate professional expertise and teamwork as physical therapists. • Become pioneers in expanding and innovating within the physical-therapy profession.
