This is not an English course. This course will teach, hands-on, how to design and create a scientific figure, write its caption, and then write a journal/conference paper or a thesis. The course will teach the entire journal paper submission process, including requirements, to equip students with all the necessary resources and knowledge for paper publication, or a thesis document preparation.
The only pre-requisite is that you should have your own data (from your own research) to prepare 3-4 figures.
Course material: PDF of course slides available to all. TA will assist in announcement , assignments, and management
Assignments: 20 %; Presence: 10 %; Final project: 70%
