The main goal of the course is to introduce students to the exciting field of synthetic biology by exploring the groundbreaking discoveries that have been recognized with Nobel Prizes. Throughout the course, students will learn about the key concepts and techniques in synthetic biology, as well as the history and impact of Nobel Prize-winning research. The course aims to cultivate students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills through various interactive learning activities such as lectures, discussions, and presentations. By the end of the course, students will gain a deep understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of synthetic biology and the potential it holds for solving complex global challenges in biomedical research. 1. Understand the fundamental principles and techniques of synthetic biology and its applications in various fields. 2. Analyze the contributions of Nobel Prize laureates to the development of synthetic biology and biological engineering. 3. Explore the impact of synthetic biology on medicine. 4. Develop critical thinking skills to assess the challenges and opportunities in the field of synthetic biology. 5. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members to implement synthetic biology projects.
