近二十年來身體成為醫療史、社會學、公共衛生,甚至是科技與社會研究共同關心的主題。本課程將以晚近身體的STS研究為基礎,以共同閱讀、深度討論與案例分析的方式,探究醫療化與醫療技術發展下,作為課題與方法的身體,在臨床場域的多元面貌。
無特殊先修科目,但有修習過醫療社會學、醫療人類學、 科技與社會研究相關課程者為佳
本課程以講課,討論與田野觀察分析為主,上課方式採取區塊方式,每次約3-4小時,有可能用到週六或週日。第一次上課時間為9月9日,授課老師將與修課同學討論進行方式。
