概述

本課程為本所碩士班之選修課程,內容著重精神醫學與現代社會的複雜關係。本課程取材除了相關的科技研究作品外,也參考關切相近的醫療人類學與醫療社會學作品。本課程與王文基老師開設之「精神醫學史」課程雖各自獨立,但也相互關聯,所以兩門課程可以相互參照。

先修科目

教學方式

同學每週會輪流報告文章,並在課前一天提出一頁的摘要以及一到兩個討論問題。無報告任務的同學也需要參加討論。

評分方式

課堂導讀與參與討論:50% 。 期末報告:50%。期末報告可以有下列兩種形式:一、類似「研究紀要」的精簡研究說明,須包含研究問題、文獻回顧(或可加入簡短的研究方法規劃說明)、簡要研究發現與啟發。二、類似「批判性回顧評述」(critical review essay)的文章,針對兩本以上的同主題書籍或者論文寫作進行批判性的細膩分析,並嘗試提出自己的論點。報告字數建議在8000-12000字的範圍內。
