a) Attendance and active participation are essential for this course. IIf you are unable to attend the class, please ensure you email me prior to the start of the class as valid proof. If you miss more than two classes without an appropriate reason, you will not receive full credit for attendance. If you are absent more than five times, your participation score will also be affected. b) Only being present during roll call counts as attendance. If you are late, you will be marked as absent. c) Absence from a class is no excuse for not knowing the assignment and what has been discussed in class. It is the student’s responsibility to find out what has been covered in the class by checking E3 or getting handouts/notes from the classmates. d)No late work / make-up exams will be accepted (unless you have requested an extension and been given approval ahead of the deadline). e). Please be aware that any work of yours should be completed on your own and any kind of plagiarism for assignments is not acceptable, i.e., copying, Google translation or AI tools are not accepted and the score will be ‘0’.
