The main purpose of this course is to provide the trainee of analysis and decision making which bases on theory for those students who are committed to work in financial management. This course is a combination of lectures, homework assignments, mid-term test and final report. All topics will be discussed in the class. Students will also learn how to apply the concepts from the course in practice.
The background in accounting, economics, or statistics would be helpful.
All materials are provided on E3 platform.
1. Homework and Assignments: Approximately once every two or three weeks a homework related to one topic in the course will be assigned and collected. When you do the homework, please be sure to use WORD A4 size and write in word form of 12. Please upload your homework to E3 platform. No late or make-up assignment will be accepted, whatsoever. 2. Exams and Quizzes: There will be one exam with multiple choices in the class. Preparing one note in double-sided A4 paper would be helpful for you (Note: Please prepare your financial calculator, using the calculating function from cellphone is strictly prohibited). The date of exam is printed in the syllabus. I will make every effort to follow the schedule. There will be no make-up exam unless you have emergencies and obtain my permission before the tests. 3. Evaluation and Grading Policy: Class Participation (Attendance and Discussion) 15% Assignment (Homework by Individual) 20% Mid-term Test 25% Final Oral Presentation (By Team) 20% Final Report (By Team) 20% 100%
